Schaumburg criminal cases are heard at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse, which is a part of the Circuit Court of Cook County Court system. The Cook County Judicial Circuit is the largest Judicial Circuit in the State of Illinois and one of the largest unified court systems in the United States.

Schaumburg adopted a Municipal Violation Court which hears certain cases at the Village Hall located at 101 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg Illinois 60193 on the first Wednesday of every month. The Municipal Court hears certain minor Retail Theft cases and minor Drug Possession cases that involve Municipal Violation tickets. Approximately half of the Village of Schaumburg Municipal Violation cases are heard at the Village Hall. The other half are heard in Room 210 at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse during certain set dates of each month. Recently, Schaumburg decided to prosecute Distracted Driving Violations through it’s Municipal Violation Court. This includes tickets for texting and driving violations, and for not using a hands free device while driving and using your cell phone.

All weekday Schaumburg Bond Court Hearings for felonies are at 1:30 p.m. in Room 108 of the Rolling Meadows Courthouse. Bond Court for misdemeanors is at 10:00 a.m. in Room 108 at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse. Bond Court for Schaumburg Bond Hearings on weekends and court holidays is at 1:30 p.m. in Room 100 of the Leighton Criminal Court Building at 26th and California in Chicago. So if you are arrested in Schaumburg on the weekend or on a holiday, the Schaumburg Police will take you to Bond Court at 26th and California in Chicago for your Bond Hearing even though your criminal case will be at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse.

All Schaumburg Preliminary Hearings are in Room 108 of the Rolling Meadows Courthouse throughout the day.

All Schaumburg felony cases start in Room 108 of the Rolling Meadows courthouse and are eventually assigned to Room 109 or 110, the only 2 felony trial courtrooms in Rolling Meadows.

All Schaumburg Domestic Battery and Schaumburg Aggravated Domestic Battery cases are in Room 207 of the Rolling Meadows Courthouse. Most Schaumburg misdemeanor Domestic Battery cases are heard at 9:30 am while the Schaumburg felony Aggravated Domestic Battery cases are heard at 1:30 p.m. in Room 207. Room 207 is a dedicated Domestic Violence courtroom for all Schaumburg and Rolling Meadows Domestic Battery cases.

All Schaumburg misdemeanor cases, such as Schaumburg DUI cases, Schaumburg Retail Theft cases, Schaumburg Shoplifting cases, Schaumburg Drug cases, Schaumburg Theft cases, and Schaumburg Battery cases, are heard on particular days of the month throughout the first and second floor of the Rolling Meadows Courthouse.
